What private-label products mean at Anthem Branding
Private label means the product belongs to your brand. We build or specify your products, then finish them so your identity is the only one in sight.
Built for your brand
We develop products around your specs, from materials and construction to color and fit. You get merchandise made for your program, not a stock item with a logo slapped on top.
Branded as your organization
Your branding sits front and center, with nothing else sharing the spotlight. Interior labels, care tags, woven patches, and packaging all carry your identity.
Made for corporate and brand programs
We private-label for companies, organizations, and premium brands. Products move through your channels to employees, clients, event attendees, and campaign audiences.

Private label vs white label: What’s the difference?
White-label products are generic goods sold to many businesses. Each buyer adds its branding to the same base product. Private-label products are built or configured for your brand, giving you control over the materials, construction, labels, and packaging. Anthem does private label. We don’t offer white-label goods, and we don’t produce inventory for resellers or marketplace sellers.
Three ways to build your private-label products
Every private-label program starts with a build path. The right one depends on your budget, timeline, and how custom you want to go.
High-quality blanks
- Fast turnaround and the lowest entry cost
- Extensive selection of products, styles, colors, and sizes
- A strong starting point for high-volume programs
Premium base
- Start from a recognized premium product built
- Proven quality and construction without the full custom timeline
- Refinished and branded as yours, drawing on our brand partners for the base
- A middle path between stock blanks and full custom work
Custom cut-and-sew
- Built from scratch to your specs, from pattern to finish
- Full control over materials, construction, hardware, and fit
- A proprietary product no one else can order
- The right path for flagship pieces and signature collections
Who we work with
From tech giants and breweries to wellness startups and media brands, the world’s most forward-thinking companies choose Anthem as their branding and merchandise partner.

- Concept and specifications: We help define the product, materials, and build path.

Private-label merchandise FAQs
Does Anthem supply private-label products to resellers?
Our private-label service is for corporate, organizational, and brand-program use. We do not produce inventory for resellers, marketplace sellers, or dropshipping businesses.
Is it legal to private label products?
Private labeling is a standard, legal way to produce branded merchandise. We build products for your program and apply your branding, and you own the finished goods. You need the rights to the logos and artwork you supply, which every corporate brand we work with does.
Do I own the branding and designs on my private-label products?
Your logos, artwork, and brand marks stay yours. For custom cut-and-sew work, the product design we build to your specs is made for your program and is not offered to other buyers. If you want a trademark or design registered, that is handled on your side, and we are happy to produce to whatever protections you put in place.
What are the most popular products for private labeling?
What decoration methods do you use for private-label merchandise?
We match the method to the product and the look you want.
- Embroidery gives apparel and headwear a raised, durable finish.
- Screen printing handles bold, high-volume graphics on soft goods.
- Sublimation prints edge-to-edge, all-over designs.
- Woven labels, patches, and heat transfers cover the finishing details.
We can combine decoration methods for complex designs.
How do you match my brand colors and design?
We work from your brand guidelines and use Pantone references to match colors across every decoration method. Our merchandise design team adapts your artwork into production-ready files and builds custom labels and tags so the product reflects your brand and goals.
Can I get a sample before committing to a full order?
Sampling is built into our process. We provide digital mockups and can send a physical sample if desired. Production only begins once you sign off.
Can you keep branding consistent across a whole merchandise collection?
We build collections as a system, so colors, labels, packaging, and finishing stay consistent whether you order apparel, headwear, or drinkware. That consistency is what makes a set of products feel like one brand instead of a mix of vendors.
What are the minimum order quantities?
Private-label programs start at 144 units. Minimums can shift by product and build path, so contact us with your product and quantity for an exact figure.
How long does private-label production take?
Timelines run from about 30 – 35 days for decorated and blank-based programs up to 12 – 18 weeks for fully custom cut-and-sew work, plus 3 – 7 days for domestic shipping. Sampling and revision rounds add time, so we recommend building in a buffer before any hard deadline.
Does Anthem also offer co-branded merchandise?
Co-branding pairs your brand with a recognized premium maker on an existing product. It is a separate capability from private label, and we run it through our brand partners.
