Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation
Based in Sun Valley, Idaho, the nonprofit organization Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation (SVSEF) runs ski and snowboarding programs geared towards young athletes. For over 50 years, SVSEF’s mission is to provide exceptional youth snowsport development programs across the Wood River Valley.
What We Delivered
We partnered with the SVSEF team to create a line of custom hats that help relay and embody the organization’s powerful values of sportsmanship, citizenship, character, teamwork, creativity, passion and perseverance.
We designed and produced a line of tailor made hipster hats that are available for sale in their online store. Like most businesses in the Sun Valley area, location and regional pride is a large part of company culture and creates a lasting connection to the community.
To accentuate this important detail, we centered the design of the 7 panel hat around a woven patch of the Idaho state license plate. The first two characters, 5B, is the state’s designation for Blaine (Hailey) county, the county that SVSEF is located in, which is right in the center of the state. The succeeding characters are the acronym for Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation — SVSEF.
Other customization details include:
- Structured crown
- Trendy flat brim
- 7 panels of twill fabric
- Woven ID license plate patch with sewn merrowed edging
- Leather strap with brass closure for a vintage flair
- Screen printed interior seams with the brand’s tagline in a step-and-repeat pattern from end to end
- Private label on the interior brim
