Shimano
Shimano is a Japanese multinational manufacturer of cycling components, fishing tackle, and rowing equipment headquartered in Sakai, Osaka, Japan.
What we delivered
We created straw hats that featured a woven logo patch with merrowed edging on the front center of the hat and sublimated under the brim that folds over the brim’s edge, allowing half an inch of the fabric to border around the upper brim. Other features include a black interior sweatband and a black pull rope with an adjuster piece for tightening or loosening the fit.
We also created a set of custom playing cards, which are custom-designed on the packaging and cards themselves.
Lastly, we created jackets for the Shimano Gravel Alliance, which is a group of 15 multi-surface cyclists sharing their adventures and stories from events and rides around North America. We worked with the Shimano team to design and produce a line of custom logo patch jackets specifically to outfit this segment of Shimano cyclists.
Our team incorporated various décor and design customizations into the jacket, including:
Customizations:
- Sewn directly onto the left arm is a woven patch featuring the Shimano wordmark and Gravel Alliance logo
- To be as useful as possible to this group of cyclists, the jacket is constructed from lightweight, synthetic performance fabric to allow for air circulation and breathability.
- The hood is made from a soft fleece for optional warmth
- A button-down construction gives the jacket a casual and trendy style while being easy to take on and off
