Beautycounter
Based in Santa Monica, CA, Beautycounter, a direct-to-consumer skincare and cosmetic company, has over 150 products and over 40,000 independent consultants. Founded by Gregg Renfrew in 2013, Beautycounter’s mission is to transform the beauty industry by creating clean, high-performing skin care and makeup and to get safer products into the hands of everyone.
The company’s advocacy efforts bring the topic of product ingredient safety to the attention of many lawmakers and places the issues of transparent labeling and the industry’s impact on climate change to the legislative agendas of members of Congress to urge the passing of clean beauty laws.
What we delivered
Working closely with the Beautycounter team, we designed and produced a diverse range of products. Given the ethos of the beauty brand, we crafted each item to reflect their advocacy for clean beauty laws, while embracing their minimalist and concise “less is more” brand identity.
