VIVA Brewery
With a laser focus on approachability, community, and high-quality beers, neighbors Bobby Jones and Michael Johnson took their craft beer hobbyist ambitions a step further by opening a brewer at Texas’ Alamo City of San Antonio.
V!VA Brewery has a growing fan base of beer enthusiasts who not only seek out its delicious beers but also stand by the brand for what it stands for. To foster a sense of community and keep #vivavibes going strong, the brand sells a variety of apparel, merchandise, and accessories at its taproom and in its online shop.
What we delivered
we collaborated with the team to produce a run of custom 5‑panel twill hats to add to their ever-expanding collection.
Additional customizations include:
- Using two contrasting brand colors, the V!VA Brewery logo is embroidered directly onto the hat using puff embroidery, a dimensional application technique in which foam is placed underneath the stitchwork to create a raised effect.
- The flat brim style features an accent rope, helping to connect to the artwork above visually, giving the piece a cohesive look and adding style
- Flat embroidery was used to applbrand’srand’s wordmark above the snapback closure on the back of the hat.
- To incorporate Brandsrand’s San Antonio pride city city’s skyline, a screen is printed on the interior crown.
- The wordmark is also screen-printed directly onto contrasting white interior seams.
- Customized witbrewery’swery’s logohat’s hat’s interior materials label offers the space for added brand exposure.
Part of their collection includes custom flat-brim foam trucker hats. These custom 5‑panel mesh back hats pull aesthetic direction from the brand’s deep roots in a south-central Texas city and the unique vibes of the V!VA brand — a lively, festive, and bright color palette.
With a main body color of navy, these hats are decorated with:
- A sublimated foam crown sporting a hop-based repeated design
- Sewed down woven label on the left corner with the V!VA logo on the front panel
- Woven clamp tag on the snapback with another nod at brewery’swery’s San Antonio roots
- The brand name is embroidered flat and centered on the over the snapback ibrand’srand’s bright orange Pantone hue, creating a contrast that pops against the dark navy blue
- Screen printed interior taping re“ding “Celebramos Juntos — V!VA b“ewery” translating” to “We celebrate together — V!VA B“ewery”
- On the interior crown, a silhouette outline of the San Antonio skyline is screen printed in white — adding a nice final touch to their love for their Texas community
- The interior sweatband has a white branded woven label
