El Camino Community Tavern
Located in the trendy Denver neighborhood of the Highlands, El Camino Community Tavern is a Mexican restaurant known for its artsy atmosphere and locally-sourced menu. A popular brunch and happy hour spot, the bright pink-colored restaurant is filled with faux-Mexican accessories, creating a down-to-earth, unpretentious ambiance. What many diners may miss while enjoying their famous margaritas or out-of-this-world nachos, is a hidden El Camino that’s parked behind the restaurant – a homage to the classic car that inspired the restaurant’s name.
What We Delivered
We worked with the El Camino team to add unique branded products such as this 5 Panel Full Fabric Trucker Hat to their existing merchandise available to buy at the restaurant.
To further strengthen this integral piece of the brand’s ethos, our creative team made the El Camino car the center of their design framework for the hat.
Customizations include:
- Flat brim style
- 5 full fabric panels on an unstructured crown
- Snapback closure type
- Woven patch featuring the El Camino car affixed to the center of the hat with a sewn-on merrowed edge, incorporating the brand’s bright color building color as subtle contrasting nuance
- Repeated wordmark screen printed on the interior seam cover, pulling in that bright pink contrast color to coordinate with the El Camino patch design and brand color pallet
- Logo mark is woven on the interior sweatband to the right of the snapback
