Production Coordinator

Position Overview

The Production Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that Anthem Branding’s custom merchandise projects move smoothly from concept to delivery. This position supports the production department by managing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, monitoring timelines, and overseeing shipping logistics. Acting as a bridge between internal teams and production partners, the Production Coordinator helps maintain quality, control costs, and drive efficiencies across the domestic production process. This is an on-site role based at Anthem Branding’s Boulder headquarters.

This full-time position operates during Mountain Standard Time office hours from our office in downtown Boulder, Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution and maintenance of domestic production strategies for Anthem Branding
  • Utilize existing tech stack to manage Purchase Orders and tasks from start to completion 
  • Assist in identifying opportunities with factory partners, suppliers, and agents to lower costs, reduce lead times, and increase profitability
  • Coordinate with the account team on project timelines, pricing, and logistics for domestic production
  • Assist in sourcing new vendor partners while nurturing existing relationships to enhance product offerings, under the guidance of senior sourcing team members
  • Coordinate domestic shipping logistics and negotiate favorable shipping rates
  • Continually seek out efficiencies to improve production process and execution
  • Assist with monitoring vendor capacity to support strategic production planning
  • Assist in evaluating supplier capabilities to align with the agency’s strengths and areas for improvement
  • Contribute to cross-training and educational efforts for production, creative, and account teams on best practices
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and maintaining sample inventory at Anthem Branding headquarters in Boulder, CO
  • Oversee the setup and management of sample/​demo inventory

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively without close supervision
  • Organized, reliable and self-motivated
  • Availability to work at the Boulder headquarters office during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM — 5:30 PM)
  • Ability to prioritize effectively under pressure and manage external distractions
  • Creative problem-solver with a calm, diplomatic approach in fast-paced situations
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Strong commitment to improving and promoting quality, with the ability to inspire and motivate peers
  • Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of how decisions impact the agency 
  • Cultural sensitivity and respect when working with offshore production partners
  • Uphold organizational values and follows policies and procedures 
  • Adaptable to changing work environments and responsive to management direction
  • Ability to identify opportunities that add value to both the agency and client businesses

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, apparel, merchandising, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with Commonsku software is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace

Salary and Benefits

The starting salary range for this position is $55k-65k (DOE), plus benefits. Benefits include unlimited Flexible Time Off, optional medical and dental insurance plan, fifteen (15) company holidays per year and a 401(K) program after one year of service. Anthem Branding employees qualify for base benefits effective the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment.
