HeadCount is an established grassroots organization that promotes active engagement among young voters. They partner with musicians and events to inspire participation in democracy. We worked with them to redesign their logo, and update the branding to appeal to a younger audience.
We built upon HeadCount’s existing brand equity by retaining the most iconic elements of the previous mark. We gave the illustration a refresh and combined it with hand lettering to capture a unique personality through gestural and textural elements.
Halftone effects were applied to photography related to music and youthful lifestyles. The new branding spans across custom shirts and marketing collateral, and reflects their edgy, fun, and powerful personality.
