Stumbling upon an alpine cabin near the base of Boulder’s Flatirons in 2013, Alpine Modern x Cafe started with the vision to create an experience that just makes you feel good. With the coziness and warmth of the location as well as intentional modern design, the brand opened its first location for customers to enjoy a hot cup of exceptional coffee, and delicious, thoughtful fare.

The hip coffeehouse can also be found at their second location nestled in the heart of historic Pearl Sreet in downtown Boulder.

We partnered with the Alpine Modern team to design and produce an all-purpose custom tote bag. Screen printed onto the natural colored bag is a custom design on the front, featuring details that emulate the brand’s Boulder community roots:

• The longitude and latitude coordinates of Boulder, CO

• Symbolic linear stacked mountain peaks reminiscent of the Flatirons

• The city’s elevation of 5,400 feet above sea level

• Roman numerals MDCCCLXXI to signify the year, 1871, that the city of Boulder was formalized and incorporated

• A crescent moon and sun on opposing sides

The back of the bag has the Alpine Modern logo screen printed in the lower right corner. The clean and minimalist design is carried over from the brand’s modern and sophisticated aesthetic, making the end deliver a piece that’s a portable promotional item for the cafe.
