Job Duties & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a dynamic, creative, and collaborative Sourcing Manager. This individual is responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating all aspects of the production process on all agency hard deliverables, which includes “off the shelf” and fully custom items. This role works within the production department and interacts with all internal departments and teams, as well as all production partners.

This full-time position operates during regular office hours from our office in downtown Boulder, CO, and reports to the Director of Operations + Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for establishing, developing, and directing all domestic and international sourcing strategies for Anthem Branding as part of the Sourcing Team
  • Oversees the production process ensuring quality control and on time delivery
  • Effectively directs the business relationships with factory partners and finished product suppliers and agents to leverage lower costs and reduced lead times while increasing profitability
  • Assists the Account Team in the creation of financial budgets and project timelines which include generating freight estimates and import fees including duties and taxes
  • Continually searches for new vendor partners and cultivates existing relationships to strengthen the product offering of the agency
  • Coordinates shipping logistics and negotiates favorable shipping rates on all product deliverables
  • Assist in the sourcing of raw materials, fabrics & components, garment suppliers, and factories depending on individual project requirements
  • Assists the Account Team and Creative Service department in the design and strategic approach of custom projects through extensive knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Continually seeks out efficiencies to improve production execution and process
  • Monitor the working capacity of existing vendor partners to aid in strategic planning
  • Vetting suppliers capabilities to support our strengths and weaknesses as an agency
  • Continue to cross train and educate the Product, Creative and Account Teams on custom project best practices
  • Assist accounting when necessary to properly process vendor and client invoices

  • 5+ years of experience in a related background
  • Bachelor’s degree and experience in marketing, apparel and merchandising preferred
  • Experience managing both individuals and teams
  • Experience with commonsku software preferred but not required
  • Experience with ERP platforms preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Mac platform, MS Excel, MS Word, Google Business Suite

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $50-80K, depending on experience, plus benefits. Benefits include unlimited PTO, optional medical and dental insurance plan, fifteen (15) company holidays per year and a 401(K) program after one year of service. Anthem Branding employees qualify for base benefits effective the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment.
