Born and bred in Boulder, Colorado, we are Anthem Branding — a promotional product, custom merchandise, branding, and design agency that crafts tangible connections between today’s most forward-thinking companies. At Anthem Branding, a designer is responsible for executing high-quality graphic design and merchandise concepts. Working individually or partnering with art directors on our creative team, a designer works at a quick pace to successfully manage multiple unique projects every day. This full-time position operates during regular office hours remotely and/or from our office in downtown Boulder, Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Create standout designs in a variety of mediums, from digital to physical goods
  • Plan, develop, and execute projects from initial concept to production
  • Exhibit ownership of assigned projects and ensure that project deliverables are professional, presentable, and fit client requirements
  • Accurately prepare final artwork for production
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the creative, account, and production teams
  • Provide attentive communication to ensure projects are completed on time and with accuracy
  • Establish and implement department standards and processes to improve workflow within the agency
  • Communicate with external partners and vendors as needed to successfully complete project deliverables
  • Follow and adapt client brand standards, review client-supplied artwork, and create on-brand product mock-ups for merchandise and apparel collections
  • Understand client needs and translate into compelling creative
  • Build design direction through mood boards and create custom design work
  • Prepare final production-ready artwork files based on supplied specifications for several types of print projects (apparel, merchandise, print, environmental)
  • Resolve any artwork issues that arise during production - review and approve proofs to ensure the final product matches our creative concept

Requirements

  • Refined design aesthetic, capable of working in a variety of different styles
  • Reliable, objective, and patient with a good sense of humor
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative, solution-focused, client-oriented outlook
  • Proven expertise in brand development, illustration, and typography
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, decoration, and techniques
  • Experience with screen printing and creating production artwork for packaging, print, apparel, or merchandise
  • Interest in continuous learning and self-improvement
  • Comfortable speaking with and presenting work to clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent creative and critical thinking skills
  • Flexible and adaptable: able to roll with changes while keeping in good spirit and switching between clients in a variety of industries

Experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience in an agency environment
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Proficient with Mac OS, G Suite, Slack and Monday.com

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $55-65k, plus benefits. Benefits include unlimited Flexible Time Off, optional medical and dental insurance plan, fifteen (15) company holidays per year and a 401(K) program after one year of service. Anthem Branding employees qualify for base benefits effective the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment.
