Recycled Runway: Sustainability Meets the Next Generation of Design

It's almost that time of year! Every Spring, Boulder's local independent study workshop, Recycled Runway, showcases the sustainable fashion masterpieces created by our community's young designers. The annual event, put on by the Common Threads Creative Lab, is an inspiring display of creative genius and the unthinkable use of recycled materials in fashion.

From beautiful gowns made of gum wrappers, window screens, metro tickets and VCR tape, to intricate jewelry and headpieces constructed from phone wires, newspaper, book pages and metal, our local teens' designs never fall short of extraordinary. Check out a few of our favorite creations from past events below.

Our design agency is proud to support the creative expression of Boulder's youth, and to sponsor the annual fashion show, taking place on April 18th at the Boulder Theater. We cannot wait to see what the designers have in store for us!
