Employee Spotlight: Lindsey Strayer

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: Being client facing! I love that I get to talk to different people, learn about their needs and wants for their brand, and how I can help them achieve that through custom merchandise.

Q: Who had the most influence over you?

A: My parents, of course. Not only are they the most hardworking people I know, they taught me (and my three siblings) what it means to have a great work ethic, how to have fun in life, to make the most out of every situation, and most importantly - what it means to be a great friend.

Q: What color best represents your personality and how does that color make you feel?

A: Blue. Blue can be whatever you want it to be - it can be bright and loud but it can also be low key. It can be worn in any season and looks great on everyone! Blue is also the color of the sky and the sea, so it is beneficial to the mind and body.

Q: How would you best friends or family describe you in three words?

A: Adventurous, sarcastic, and above all - loyal.

Q: What is your favorite activity to do locally and why?

A: Hiking, camping, and skiing. I have to be outside and be active, plus with two Golden Retrievers (that are pretty popular on Instagram), my husband and I are always trying to wear them out!

Q: What is your favorite local restaurant?

A: Fish N Beer. As an east coaster (Go Redskins...it's our year) and currently living in a landlocked state, its hard to find good seafood, but Fish N Beer has the best oysters in town. Check 'em out.

Protip: If you aren't into raw oysters, go for the grilled oyster with blue cheese.

Q: Best concert you have ever attended?

A: Tom Petty - Red Rocks. Rest in peace...in peace.

Q: Favorite Netflix show to binge watch?

A: Re-watching all the seasons of Friends. Best show ever and the episodes never get old. Favorite character - tie between Ross & Chandler.

Q: Where's your favorite place in the world?

A: South Island of New Zealand. I've been fortunate to be able to travel a lot and see what the other side of the world looks like, and would recommend New Zealand to anyone- Mother Nature took a tad longer there. Close second would be Vietnam - the most friendly people and also a beautiful country.

Q: Secret talent?

A: I can say all the U.S. states in alphabetical order in under 20 seconds.
