Employee Spotlight: Erin Brogan

Meet Erin Brogan, one of Anthem's Account Managers, featured this week in our Employee Spotlight series.

Q: Please give me a description of what your position entails at Anthem Branding.

A: I’m an Account Manager here at Anthem!

I handle all client interactions and requests, as well as hand select thoughtful merchandise based on our clients' needs (retail products, event giveaways, holiday gifts, staff apparel, new hire welcome kits, etc). If you can think it, I can make it happen! I’ve got my finger on the pulse when it comes to new product and industry trends.

I also work closely with both our Creative and Production teams to ensure successful manufacturing.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: The creativity!

I love being able to recommend specific products and talk about what design techniques align best with what my clients are hoping to achieve! It’s my job to be the merchandise expert and I love doing it.

Q: Who had the most influence over you?

A: My mom for sure! She has worked so hard for everything she has in her life. She reminds me all the time to get things done “today” instead of pushing them off until tomorrow. She keeps me motivated and driven for success.

Q: What color best represents your personality and how does that color make you feel?

A: Yellow! Who doesn’t love sunshine. To me, it’s a great reminder that everyday is a new day and a fresh start!

I’m overall a pretty smiley and happy person and unrelatedly love to wear yellow. It just puts me in a good mood.

Q: How would your best friends or family describe you in three words?

A: Loyal, big-hearted, fun-loving.

Q: What is your favorite activity to do locally and why?

A: My husband and I have two english bulldogs, Meatball and Munchie, who get a ton of our attention. I love showing them off around town — they make everyone smile!

Being fairly new to Colorado, I’ve really been enjoying exploring the outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, concerts at Red Rocks, trying all of the new restaurants and breweries, hitting an occasional spin class, unsuccessfully skateboarding and just taking in all of the beauty this magical place has to offer.

Q: What is your favorite local restaurant?

A: Work & Class in RiNo, Denver!

The food is simple, made with quality ingredients and it’s set in a fun/informal atmosphere. Best mac and cheese I’ve had so far out here! I’m also a vegetarian and they have so many options to choose from — it’s a plus that they are always changing the menu!

Q: Best concert you have ever attended?

A: That's a hard one. It’s a Phish show, for sure, but it may be impossible to pin-point just one! I’ve been following them for over 20 years now.

Before moving to Denver, seeing a show at Red Rocks was on my bucket list. My husband and I flew out to see LCD Soundsystem there a few years ago and it was amazing! The sound, the view, the disco ball — there is truly no place like it.

Q: Where’s your favorite place in the world?

A: There is a small island off the coast of Belize called Key Caulker.

It’s a tiny island with about 2,000 people. There are no corporate chain restaurants or large hotels. Everyone gets around by bike or golf cart. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, unwind and swim all day!

Q: Favorite podcast?

A: On long car trips, I’ll tune in to “Radio Lab” but to be honest, I don’t really listen to many podcasts … I’m more of a hip hop radio girl.

Also, while not exactly a podcast, I’m a huge Howard Stern fan. I listen to him on Sirius all the time.

Q: Secret talent?

A: Salt-N-Pepa’s Shoop! Favorite karaoke song, hands down.

I may also impress you with my Beastie Boys rapping skills. I’ve been wanting to start an all female Beastie Boy cover band for awhile now … I’m, Ad-rock!
